Le Male Yoga offers fun-filled urban yoga adventures in the greatest city in the world - New York City. Not your typical yoga retreat, our unique, experience-oriented retreats and workshops are deliberately planned for men to embark on a journey of community, acceptance and excitement.
Le Male Yoga Retreats combine different styles of yoga, personal development and embodied spirituality with a big dose of New York City energy and a touch of relaxation. We have put together a distinctive program whereby each guest will practice yoga daily and have opportunities to connect with other men while discovering all that New York City has to offer. At the same time, we want you to enjoy freedom and flexibility during your stay so you can decide for yourself how much or how little you would like to participate.

Our Approach
The approach to yoga we use in our retreats is a practical one that integrates the foundational elements of Hatha, Vinyasa and Tantric Yoga whilst also exploring themes such as mindfulness, human anatomy, sexual energy, and real-life spirituality. While Vinyasa classes can be challenging, previous experience is not essential, as each participant will be offered individual attention by the teachers. We encourage each participant to explore his own personal development while also participating in activities with partners or as part of a group.

A typical day at a Le Male Yoga Retreats in NYC:

Morning
We start the mornings with meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama), followed by our retreat opening circle and an invigorating yoga session. After a social hour with organic breakfast in the studio (or outside on your own), we continue with an inspirational lecture and group discussion.
Lunch - Free Time
Relax, connect with the others in the group, go shopping, explore the city, or enjoy some down time (you will receive lots of information about the city upon arrival)
Afternoon
We continue in the afternoon with yoga, partner work, and/or an interactive group activity.
Evening - Experience the city's finest
New York City has over 18,000 bars/restaurants. The evenings are for dinner and time for you to experience life as a 'New Yorker'.
Logistics
Mats: For your convenience, we will provide you with a mat to use during the retreat
Snacks: water, juice, teas and healthy, organic snacks will be available to you at the studio, free of charge
Accommodations: We have secured special rates at 3-4 star hotels at various price points throughout NYC and are happy to make recommendations
